PROVISION OF SERVICES

  • The business of Home Staging Spain (hereunder referred to as “HSS”) is involved in the creation, implementation and supervision of solutions to enhance the marketability of a property.
  • All recommendations given by HSS are of aesthetic/cosmetic nature only. HSS's consultants are not qualified to provide structural recommendations or major repairs to the Property. Such recommendations should be provided by a suitably qualified architect or building surveyor. To the extent permitted by law HSS home staging consultants cannot accept responsibility for any loss, injury or inconvenience sustained by any person using the information provided in the written report.
  • All orders must be confirmed in writing prior to the start of work.
  • All information is given in good faith.
  • HSS may amend the type of goods and services previously recommended in writing, upon agreement with the client.
  • For all staging services, HSS does not give any guarantee that the client will find buyers or tenants within a specific time or that the value of the property or rental will increase within a specific limit.
  • Before implementing any recommendations given by HSS, the client should ensure that they are satisfied with the cost effectiveness of these recommendations. The client should ensure that the necessary health and safety precautions are in place prior to the start of any recommended work.HSS reserves the right to exclude any other areas which may have limited or unsafe access.
  • Home staging consultation and report: A HSS Consultant shall attend the Client’s property (the “property”) to carry out an initial home staging consultation (the “consultation”) with the Client and prepare a full written report (the “report”).
  • Hands-on staging service is the physical execution of the consultation. It includes preparation work, improvement, repairs, project management and showcasing. Furniture and accessories may be moved from room to room, rearranged, or packed and stored. A full schedule of works (the “planning”) with estimated costing would be made and forwarded to the client. The planning shall include a general description of the services to be provided including the works to be carried out and the goods and materials to be supplied. If the client wishes to proceed, he/she must return a copy of the schedule duly signed to confirm their agreement to the estimate.
  • Third parties:HSS may recommend companies for the supply of services such as plumbing, painting & decorating, joinery, electrical etc. However, the Client will need to enter into contracts with and make payments directly to the service provider. The Client must satisfy themselves with the expertise, qualifications and insurance cover of the trade supplier before asking them to do work. HSS is not responsible for the services and good provided by them and they will operate under their own terms and conditions.
  • These terms and conditions will automatically apply when the client orders any services.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Client agrees to allow HSS to photograph staged areas of the property before and after the work is completed, and to use all such photographs for reference and marketing purposes.  Client’s name will not be referenced without the written consent of Client.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • HSS's home staging consultation and report are payable immediately on receipt of the invoice (within 5 days of the date of HSS’s pro forma invoice) and prior to receiving the report. The client shall pay these fees in advance of services supplied, with a copy of these terms and conditions for their approval.
  • Hands-on staging: HSS hands-on services (project management, showcasing, etc) are charged on a hourly basis according to the hourly rate mentioned on the planning.  It may sometimes be necessary to use an assistant, to be charged per hour. All hours will be broken down in the planning and agreed with the client before commencement of works. Cost of supplies, goods and material bought by HSS on behalf of the clients are payable in advance prior the purchase.
  • Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer (bank details are provided on request and with the proforma invoice). The price is exclusive of applicable VAT.
  • The client will be responsible for the payment of third party suppliers introduced or arranged by HSS.
  • Depending on the location of the property and upon agreement with the client, additional charges for travel may be payable by the client.

TIMESCALE
HSS shall inform the client of the date of commencement of work and an estimated completion date. Any date given is an estimate only. Whilst HSS will always endeavour to complete the services within estimated date, HSS shall not be held liable for any delay in completing the services.

CLIENT'S OBLIGATIONS

  • The client shall permit HSS's consultants or representatives, sub-contractors, suppliers access to the property, at all reasonable times, for the purpose of providing services, goods and material.
  • The client shall ensure that water and electric supplies are available at the property to carry out services at no extra cost to HSS.
  • The client is responsible for any loss or damage to any goods, materials, tools or equipment delivered to or stored at the property unless such damage arises from HSS’s failure to take reasonable care. HSS is not liable for any missing or damaged items after delivery and installation.

HSS’s OBLIGATIONS

  • HSS must supply goods and material of reasonable quality and adequate for their purpose.  HSS shall provide the services using reasonable care and skill.
  • HSS shall inform the client of any necessary changes of services or goods prior completion.
  • Privacy: Any information that we collect from you is used solely to enable us to contact you. If you do not want us to use this information as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes. Please email us: info@homestagingspain.com. HSS will never knowingly pass your information on to any third party.

CANCELLATION

  • No administration charges will apply to the Client if the appointment is cancelled up to 48 hours prior the Appointment date & time.
  • Cancellation made between 48 and 24 hours prior to the appointment date will incur a €50+vat charge to the Client
  • Cancellation made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will incur a €75 +vat charge
  • The client may cancel the contract after commencement of the services and will be liable for the payment of all services provided up to the date of cancellation.
